Presentations of the "Rabindranath Tagore – Indian Culture Messenger" exhibition took place in the libraries of the Basil Island and Nevsky districts of St.Petersburg, Russia, April 13th and 27th, 2013. The exhibition is a joint project of Consulate General of India in St. Petersburg and St. Petersburg Branch of the International Center of the Roerichs. Life and creative work of a world-known poet, an artist, a teacher and a philosopher, an Indian great cultural and public figure - Rabindranath Tagore – was described for school children and adults in lectures with video-presentations held by Yelena Kucheryavenko and Tatyana Aleksandrova, St.Petersburg Branch ICR lecturers.

The exhibition is a joint project of  Consulate General of India in St. Petersburg and the Regional Non-Governmental Organization “St. Petersburg Branch of the International Non-Governmental Organization “The International Center of the Roerichs””. 
Rabindranath Tagore is a world-known poet and an artist, a teacher and a philosopher, an Indian great cultural and public figure. Helena Kucheryavenko, a St.Petersburg Branch ICR lecturer, presented a lecture  with a video-presentation about life and creative work of the greatest son of India.

18.04.2012 "Rabindranath Tagore – Indian Culture Messenger" Lecture in a District Library, St.Petersburg, Russia

"Rabindranath Tagore – Indian Culture Messenger" lecture was readin a district library in St.Petersburg, Russia. The lecture is within the "R.Tagore – Indian Culture Messenger" exhibition, which has been made by the St.Petersburg Branch of the International Centre of the Roerichs through support of the Consulate General of India in St.Petersburg. 

Tatyana Aleksandrova, a SPB ICR lecturer, presented the lecture which was followed with a video-presentation showing photos and documents about life and creative work of the greatest son of India Rabindranath Tagore. Rabindranath Tagore, a Nobel Prize laureate, a poet and playwright, a composer and an artist, an outstanding public figure brought Indian Culture to the West in the XX century. Rabindranath Tagore’s poetry, music and cultural work greatly influenced the Indian fight for independence and contributed to revival of the national spirit of India. 

The audience heartedly greeted the story about one of the greatest Indian outstanding figures.

In the exhibition hall of the city public organization "Angarsk Roerich Society" there was held a solemn opening of the exhibition of photographs devoted to the distinguished cultural worker of India - Rabindranath Tagore. Materials for the exhibition were provided by the St. Petersburg Branch of the International Centre of the Roerichs.

In 2011 the world public celebrates the 150th birth anniversary of R.Tagore (May, 7th, 1861 – August, 7th, 1941), the Nobel Prize laureate and the world-known Indian poet, writer and playwright, composer and artist, famous public figure. In the XX century Tagore by means of his aspiration to beauty, harmony, and by his tireless work opened the Indian culture to the Western world.

 “Cosmic World Outlook: Origin, Problems, Prospects of Development” Round Table took place in the Scientist’s Club by the name of M.Gorky (The Russian Academy of Scientists) on December, 1st , 2010 in St.Petersburg.

The Round table was in the frames of a monthly seminar held by Chair of Ontology and Theory of Knowledge of Faculty of Philosophy, St.Petersburg State University. Well-known scientists and scholars from Moscow and St.Petersburg who study important philosophic questions such as Russian cosmism and cosmic reality philosophy “Living Ethics” were interested in the Round table theme.

“Mahatma Gandhi – Great Soul of India” exhibition was opened on February, 13th in “Yuzhno-Primorskaya” Library No.10, St. Petersburg, Russia. The exhibition is a joint project of General Consulate of India in St. Petersburg and the Regional Non-Governmental Organization “St. Petersburg Branch of the International Non-Governmental Organization “The International Center of the Roerichs””. The exhibition shows rare photos and documents about Mahatma Gandhi’s life and depicts the most important events which made M.Gandhi a leader of the national Indian movement for independence. Helena V.Kucheryavenko, a lector of the St.Petersburg Branch of the Internationl Center of the Roerichs, has made a lecture with a video-presentation about M.Gandhi’s childhood, his studies in England, his solicitor work in Africa, his correspondence with Leo Tolstoy, which influenced greatly on his philosophy and  Satyāgraha movement.

On February 6, 2019 in the educational and hotel complex "Pushkinsky"at the University of Management and Economics Technologies (St. Petersburg, RF) the grand opening of the " Rabindranat Tagor – Messenger of Indian Culture" exhibiton was held. The exhibition was prepared by the St. Petersburg branch of the International Centre of the Roerichs on the materials presented in cooperation with the Consulate General of the Republic of India.

On October, 9th, 2014, on the birth-anniversary of Nicholas Roerich the photo exhibition prepared by the International Centre of the Roerichs in cooperation with the International Roerich Memorial Trust was presented to the guests at the IRMT Exhibition Hall. The exhibition was solemnly opened by the Minister-Counselor of the RF Embassy in India Denis Alipov and the Executive Secretary, the ICR Board member Pavel Zhuravikhin. The display includes archive photos, informational banners and reproductions of the Master’s paintings and tells about the major stages of Nicholas Roerich’s life path.
