The exhibition project coincides with St.Petersburg Municipal Program “Tolerantnost” (“Tolerance”) which aims to get St. Petersburg schoolchildren acquainted with knowledge of the world culture, various peoples’ traditions and ways of life.
Helena V.Kucheryavenko and Helena Korchemkina, St. Petersburg Branch of the ICR lectors, made several lectures with video-presentations about M.Gandhi’s childhood, his studies in England, solicitor work in Africa, correspondence with Leo Tolstoy, which influenced greatly Gandhi’s philosophy and Satyāgraha movement.
