The closing day of the festival “The Roerichs’ Himalayan Estate – Karma-Bhumi of the Great Russian Family” in the IRMT was dedicated to the celebrations of the 114th birth anniversary of Svetoslav Roerich, the younger son of Nicholas and Helena Roerich.

From November 14, 2016 the "Rabindranath Tagore - Indian Culture Messenger" exhibition - a joint project of Consulate General of India in St. Petersburg and St. Petersburg Branch of the International Center of the Roerichs has been exhibited at the professional Lyceum of technology and design "Zvezdny" in St.Petersburg, RF.

On October 12–13, 2018, the students, research scholars and teaching staff of the Department of Visual Arts and other departments of Himachal Pradesh University and the Rajkiya Kanya Mahavidyalaya (RKMV), Shimla got a wonderful opportunity to learn about the life and art of Nicholas and Svetoslav Roerich.

In front of the memorial Roerich House were solemnly hoisted the national flags of India and Russia, and the Banner of Peace. The distinguished guests of the programme, Dr. Rita Singh, Advisor (Hindi), Ministry of Finance, Government of India; Member, Art, Language and Culture Academy, State Government of Himachal Pradesh; Smt. Sushma Sharma, President, Naggar Panchayat; Olga Slepova, poetess (Russia), Tamara Merges, head of the volunteer group from the International Centre of the Roerichs (ICR), Moscow, and other guests from India and Russia, took part in the flag hoisting ceremony.

On October 6, the Himalayan Roerich Estate resounded with the joyful voices of children participating in the Children and Youth Festival “Russia-India: From Heart to Heart” that visited the International Roerich Memorial Trust already for the fourth time during the traditional Indo-Russian culture festival on the occasion of the Roerichs’ anniversaries.

The memory day of Helena Roerich – the outstanding philosopher of the 20th century, thinker, scholar, author and explorer – opened in the Himalayan Roerich Estate in Naggar with planting of flowers.

On the eve of the 19th Indo-Russian Summit, on September 13–14, 2018, a conference “India-Russia in the 21st Century: Enhancing the Special Privileged Strategic Partnership” was held in New Delhi.

On August 16, 2018, the International Roerich Memorial Trust held a programme on the occasion of the 116th anniversary of George Roerich, the elder son of Nicholas and Helena Roerich, and the renowned orientalist, linguist, Tibetan Buddhist scholar, archeologist and explorer of Central Asia.

The conference was organized by the Latvian Branch of the International Centre of the Roerichs, Baltic International Academy, the International Centre of the Roerichs and the European Association "EURASSIM". Culture figures and the representatives of the Roerich societies and communities of Austria, Bulgaria, Belarus, Germany, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia and Estonia participated in the conference.

On 9–10, October, 2018 an international public and scientific conference of the International Centre of the Roerichs “The Living Ethics and its Actuality in the Contemporary World” will take place in Moscow.

On April 29, 2018, within the framework of the Spring Roerich Culture Festival «The Roerichs’ Himalayan Estate – Karma-Bhumi of the Great Russian Family» the International Roerich Memorial Trust (IRMT), Naggar held an international academic seminar «The Roerichs in Kullu: Aspects of Creativity».

Traditional Indo-Russian Spring Culture Festival Celebrated on April 29-May 1, 2018 in the International Roerich Memorial Trust. This year, the festival was dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the Roerichs’ arriving and settling in Kullu and was called «The Roerichs’ Himalayan Estate – Karma-Bhumi of the Great Russian Family».

April 15, 2018 the International Roerich Memorial Trust celebrated the 83rd anniversary of the Roerich Pact – the first international Treaty for the Protection of Artistic and Scientific Institutions and Historic Monuments initiated by the great Russian artist Nicholas Roerich who worked on its draft in early 1930s right here in the Himalayan Roerich Estate.

On March 30, 2018, the International Roerich Memorial Trust (IRMT) celebrated the 110th anniversary of Devika Rani, the cinema star of yesteryear, and the beloved wife of Dr. Svetoslav Roerich.

The programme organized in the Himalayan Roerich Estate on the occasion of the Masters Day (March 24) started with the solemn ceremony of planting of flowers on the Samadhi of Nicholas Roerich.

On January, 30, 2018 "My discovery of India" Quiz took place in Rabindranath Tagore School in St.Petersburg, Russia.

"R. Tagore – Indian Сulture Messenger" Exhibition of the St. Petersburg Branch of the International Centre of the Roerichs was donated to Rabindranath Tagore School in Saint-Petersburg to commemorate the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Russia and India and the 60th anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore School, St.Petersburg, January, 31, 2018.

On 30th January at 11:30 the press-conference of the International Centre of the Roerichs will take place at the press-center IA Rosbalt (building 1, 4/2 Skatertniy per., Moscow). It is dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the death of Svetoslav Roerich (1904–1993), the younger son of a great Russian painter Nicholas Roerich, the founder of the Non-Governmental Museum named after Nicholas Roerich in Moscow. The press-conference is also held to mark 9 months since the illegal seizure of the Museum by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the State Museum of Oriental Art subordinated to the ministry. The conference is open for Russian and foreign journalists.

A lecture about R.Tagore’s life and work was held in St.Petersburg secondary school named after R.Tagore on January 15, 2018; the lecture as well as the "Rabindranath Tagore – Messenger of Indian Culture" exhibition, which is shown in the school, have been made by the St. Petersburg branch of the International Centre of the Roerichs.
